The Chinese Lesson

blade in the heart – endure

endure the words,

words nailing down

eye behind tree, spying your mind

examine your heart, scrutinize your feelings

think

ideologies

restrict

depress

This is my first attempt of composing Chinese poetry, dated November 3, 2000.

I started learning roots and characters in June 2000 with

Chinese Characters: A Genealogy and Dictionary( Rick Harbaugh).
